President Barack Obama endorses Joe Biden For President

On April 14, 2020, former U.S. President Obama endorsed Joe Biden For President.

President Obama noted Biden’s leadership on health care, climate change, and the 2008 recovery, and said that he believes that Biden is the person who can heal the country in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak.

"For all of us who love this country and are willing to do our part to make sure it lives up to its highest ideals - now's the time to fight for what we believe in," Obama wrote. "I'll see you on the campaign trail as soon as I can."

President Obama also spoke to Americans about the COVID-19 pandemic.

"If you have lost somebody to this virus or if someone in your life is sick, or if you are one of the millions suffering economic hardship, please know that you are in our prayers. Pease know that you are not alone because now is the time for all of us to help where we can and to be there for each other as neighbors, as co-workers and as fellow citizens."

Rolling Stone Magazine Endorses Joe Biden

Rolling Stone Magazine , the rock n roll lifestyle magazine founded in 1967, has endorsed Joe Biden as President of the United States in the 2020 Presidential Election. The editorial states that Biden "evinces competence, compassion, steadiness, integrity and restraint. Perhaps even more important in this moment, Biden holds a profound respect for the institutions of American democracy, as well as a deep respect for how our government - and our system of checks and balances - is meant to work; he aspires to lead the nation as its president, not its dictator."
